After some trekking and spending some time in nature, I am again in my room with my lovely girl, Shiva. For the ones who doesn't know her, she is my 2 years old best friend. She has been with me all through my most difficult times. I just feel love for her; http://www.technorigin.net/2015/02/welcome-home.html

Reading and listening to music are definetely your other best friends when you are feeling down because they have the power to take you to another worlds when you are not happy about the one you are living in. So tonight I will listen to one of my favourite music album which I have been listening often lately.

RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES by French electronical music duo DAFT PUNK was released on 2013 by Columbia Records. While the song 'Get Lucky' became internationally popular, the other songs of the album are also so catchy. But here is my favourite of all;

Touch, I remember touch
Pictures came with touch
A painter in my mind
Tell me what you see

A tourist in a dream
A visitor it seems
A half-forgotten song
Where do I belong?
Tell me what you see
I need something more.

Kiss, suddenly alive
Happiness arive
Hunger like a storm
How do I begin?

A room within a room
A door behind a door
Touch, where do you lead?
I need something more
Tell me what you see
I need something more

Hold on
If love is the answer you're home

Touch, sweet touch
You've given me too much to feel
Sweet touch
You've almost convinced me I'm real

I need something more
I need something more.

Daft Punk noted that this song is the most complex piece on the record and stated that 'Touch' is like the core of the record and the memories of the other tracks are revolving around it.

The closing track 'Contact' is also one of my favourites. As I said in the beginning of the post, if you want to escape from the real life, it is definetely a perfect album for you to take you somewhere new. I hope it makes the same effect for you as it did to me. Now listen the whole album and  get ready for a long travel through your mind with your dreams.

Time to go now. Stay in touch :))

Honestly, I am in diffucult times. I lost my job and I am unemployed for quite some time. My love life is terrible and after some very bad experiences, I had to rethink about the people around me. The people really aren't what they look like sometimes. You love them, you value them, you want the best for them but then one day something happens and you start to judge yourself for being so sad about what happened while the others even don't care. I feel the change in me. I am changing with seeing the people's real faces. Your most beloved ones can leave you alone in your most difficult times and you loose your trust, you change.

It is not only me where nothing goes well. My country is not going well; neither economically nor politically. We have bombings almost every month, we have soldiers dying almost every day. Unemployment rate rising everyday, most of the population trying to live under poverty threshold. Very difficult times for Turkey as I had written in some of my previous posts;

But I do still hope for a brighter future. Without hope, life doesn't mean anything. I wake up everyday, open my window, look up to the blue sky and pray for that day for some miracles. Someday, I believe someday these dark clouds over my head will leave me.

In this post I want to thank Eckhart Tolle for being with me while I am travelling through this dark tunnel alone. Listening to him, reading his words helps me a lot not to give up my hope.

Born in 1948, experienced the depression till the age of 29 and then with his 'inner transformation' now he is one of the most spiritual authors in the world.

The strongest is the ones who are really using the power of now. We are living our lives without knowing what will happen in the next minutes, next days, next months, next years... We only know that we are alive now; happy or not; we are still alive and continue to take these miraculous breaths.

Here are some of his words. They give me hope, strength to carry on; they keep me awake on this very moment.
''Whatever the present moment contains, embrace it and act as if you had chosen it yourself.''
'' Life will give you the whatever experience is the most helpful for the evolution  of your consciousness.''
''The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.''
''You can only lose something you have,but you can not lose something that you are. ''
''The secret of life is 'to die before you die' - and find that there is no death.''
'' Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for comething new to emerge.''

This is the love story of two dreamers. This is the story of music, theatre, being passionate about our dreams. This is the story of two people following their dreams while leaving their love to the other side.

La la la la la laaaa... The world definitely needs all the forms of art more and more as it had never needed before. The world is total in chaos and we, people need to smile, relax and believe and thank to productions like this we still manage to have some hope.

Here is the 2016 musical LA LA LAND; written and directed by Damien Chazalle and starling Ryan Gosling whom I first watched in 2011 in an another amazing love story 'The Notebook' and Emma Stone whom I first met in the 2011 movie 'Crazy, Stupid, Love'. A perfect couple for a perfect romantic musical. The success of the movie since its release finalized with a record-tying 14 Oscar moninations.

I am pretty sure this amazing musical romantic movie again will show its success in the 89th Academy Awards Ceremony on the 26th of February,2017.

I love musicals; movies, stage shows... I love the feelings to be expressed by dancing, by music. But I have to admit till today, I was most affected by the 1968 musical movie 'FUNNY GIRL'; adopted from Isobel Lennart's book of the same name. Barbra Streisand and Omar Sharif were our lovers this time but again they couldn't come together.

2001 musical movie 'MOULIN ROUGE!' is also one of my favourites. Again two lovers; Nicole Kidman and Evan McGregor and again not the happy ending.
Love is as difficult as it is complicated. You will devote your love, your life, your everything for your only one till the end of your life and without breaking your vows. I wonder how many couples can survive in a real love in today's world.

Maybe what some say is really correct; ' Real loves never have happy endings'

Laying on my bed with my laptop, thinking how I left my precious blog cold outside for the last months. I haven't been writing these days on TECHNORIGIN but was very busy completing the first part of my first ebook- The Light Of The Universe, which is now on sale on internet. And I was working for the second part- The Queen Of The Jungle lately. It will be finished and published on internet soon and then the third part will be on progress - The Painter Of The Mind.

I started this blog in 2011 and since then I searched and write about all sort of things as you can see from the menu. But I just realized and felt sad when I saw my last post was a couple of months ago so here is my new year resolution for 2017; at least 5 posts for each month. Let's see who will win this year; 2017 or me?

While writing these, I still have no idea what will this post be about? I am still waiting for a signal to start writing; a little bit of inspiration is always welcomed. And here it comes.... In these cold winter days what I miss mostly is swimming, diving under the water with the deep silence and feel comfortable and relaxed. So now I would like to write about amazing spots for scuba dive lovers in Caribbean Sea.

Jason deCaires Taylor; is a British sculptor and the creator of the world's first underwater park in 2006; the Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park and a underwater museum in the Caribbean Sea off the west cost of Grenada. His second project was to create another underwater park with the largest collection of contemporary sculptures, which he achieved in 2010 with many other artists by the opening of underwater museum of art MUSA, Museo Subaquatico de Arte in Caribbean Sea off the Eastern State of Cancun, Mexico. Taylor is currently working on his new underwater museum project for Atlantic Ocean.

Here are some of these talented sculptors works in these amazing world of the blue...

Please you, too join my journey with me and be a part of my dream. Who knows maybe, we are together in our dreams. Let's make that happen. Our first stop is the Temple of Pura Besakih in Endonesia. It is time to travel now. Free your mind and come with me.

I have just written about the glass  exhibition I have visited. Here is the photo of me behind  an art piece made by a young artist;

When I uploaded the photo as my profile photo on facebook, one of my ex-colleagues wrote a comment with sending this scene from the movie 'Pan's Labyrinth';

A few days later, a close friend of mine living in UK send me this picture of Brighton Art Fair Magazine;

So it was time to search for it now :)

Pan's Labyrinth; is a Spanish-Mexican dark-fantasy movie written and directed by Mexican Guillermo del Toro that was premiered in 2006 Cannes Film Festival.

The movie intertwines the real world with a mythical world, telling the story of Ofelia, who is actually Princess Moanna, the daughter of the king of the underworld who becomes blind by sunlight when she visits the human world. Visiting the human world also erases her memory and one night she finds herself in a labyrinth after following a stick insect that appears in her bedroom which she believes to be a fairy. During her travel in the labyrinth, she meets many strange and magical creatures . Pale Man, with eyes on his hands, is one of them; a child-eating faun (mythological half human-half goat creature). He guides Ofelia into the fantasy world.... For more you should watch the movie :)

The pale man's eyes on his hands is a feature shared by the Japanese mythological man-like creature,  the Tenome. The creature was illustrated in the first book of 18th century Japanese artist Toriyama Sekiens's series, Gazu Hyakki Yakö (The Illustrated Night Parade of A Hundred Demons).

It is enough blogging for tonight. I hope tomorrow the world will be a more peaceful place so we won't need to close our eyes to be able to continue our lives. Because it is actually happening right now...We, people won't see or don't want to see or can't stand what we see any more...

Hell of Another Planet

I went to my dad's cousins's exhibition a couple of months ago. It was the first time I met her. We have never been too close with my dad's family since they are/were all living far away from us, but I felt myself close to her at the first sight. She is an artist making unique works with glass. Her personel exhibition called 'The Soul of the Glass' is open to visit in İstanbul right now. Here is her instagram account if you'd like to check her work; @studiovolcano and here are my favourite ones...

I was impressed with her way of expressing the cruelty of this world. We are all different people living in different countries but the reality is the same; THEY are killing us and we are in desperate straits.

I haven't been writing lately. I can't say I don't have the time, but maybe the desire... More than 200 people died in five major bombing attacks since July of last year. İstanbul; the most populous city and Ankara, the capital were hit more than once. Nevertheless to say, many soldiers are dying everyday in the south part... My country is on war and we have nothing to do but continue our daily lives...

Everyday we wake up with horrible news and it is such an awful feeling not to feel safe in your own country. The saddest thing is, it is just not happening here but everywhere. Paris attack, Brussel attack and just a few days ago another suicide bombing hit one of the largest parks in Lahore, Pakistan...

I remember Mel Gibson's screaming 'freedom' in the final scene of 'Braveheart'; one of my gretaest war movies . The world has always been on war;  people always found SOMETHING to fight with each other  but I wish, at least, we could have been kept fighting on moral grounds... Targetting civilians, even worse children, is something I can not understand.

Why? Maybe this world is really the hell of another planet.
